Lori Twiggs resides in Enumclaw, WA, a rural community forty miles south of
Seattle.   She enjoys painting still life and landscapes in the cozy surroundings of
her private studio with the occasional plein air escapade.

While she's indulged in art since childhood her obsessive attraction to the rich,
buttery feel of oils began in 2005.  She spends much of her time studying through
books, magazines, internet and other artists when she's not at the easel.

Lori's artistic voice lends itself to impressionism,  a likely result of the influence of
Monet, Pissarro and Van Gogh, giving her work a painterly look with visible
brushstrokes and playful color.  Her subjects are modest and uncluttered.

Lori is an active volunteer of her local art organization,
Arts Alive!
